Volleyball Recap: Shasta Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Shasta saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins.

Naia Kristoffersen paced Shasta's offense, picking up eight kills. Kristoffersen got some help from Sophie Smith and her 19 assists. Kristoffersen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shasta is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Shasta has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Liberty Ranch on the 20th. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against River City on the 20th.
