Rocco Pugliese posted a new career-high in RBI on Wednesday. He fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs were his first of the season.

Pugliese's strong effort led Temecula Valley over Chaparral and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Bears are 8-2 against the Pumas going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
