Recap: Lincoln Railsplitters vs. East New York Family Academy
On Friday, things could have been worse for Lincoln, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-41 loss to East New York Family Academy.
Arianna Mercado had a dynamite game for East New York Family Academy, scoring 24 points along with six assists and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mercado has scored at least 25% of East New York Family Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amariah Clyne, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for East New York Family Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Midwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East New York Family Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Bishop Loughlin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
