Northwest won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Northwest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-13, 25-21, 25-21.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Northwest will take on Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lexington on the 27th.
