Volleyball Recap: Redfield Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Redfield can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Philip Scotties.

Hayden Gall paced Redfield's offense, picking up six kills. Gall also shared the team's lead in assists with Layla Hardie: they picked up nine each.

Despite the loss, Philip still got an impressive performance from Taylor O'Connell, who had 14 digs. O'Connell has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Redfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Philip, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Redfield has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Hot Springs on the 18th. As for Philip, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Dupree on the 18th.
