Football Recap: Hope Takes a Loss

Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-10 loss at the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Razorbacks from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Austin Courtney threw for 106 yards on six of 14 attempts. Jaiden Brown was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards. On the ground, Jkari Gulley rushed for 48 yards.

Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Arkansas, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hope is set to square off against their familiar foe Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Arkansas will take on rival De Queen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
