Baseball Recap: Tidehaven Gets the Win

Palacios typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Tidehaven proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Sharks. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won nine in a row.

RITCHIE ZGARCIA spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on ASHTON KLAIBER, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was TRAVIS RIENDEAU, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
