Davis Sr. waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Jesuit Marauders. That's two games straight that the Blue Devils have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Eli Burnham, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Davis Sr.'s record now sits at 9-4-1. As for Jesuit, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Davis Sr. will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Marauders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
