Volleyball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Georgetown-Ridge Farm lost against Armstrong on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buffaloes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Armstrong scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17.

Milee Ellis paced Georgetown-Ridge Farm's offense, picking up nine kills. Ellis got some help from Rubyrae Fraser-Soule and her 18 assists.

Armstrong found their leader in sophomore Carly Grant, who had eight assists and six digs.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Armstrong, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Blue Ridge on the 28th. As for Armstrong, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against LeRoy on the 30th.
