Florence suffers tenth straight loss on the road

The Florence Buffaloes were the 46-32 winner over the Johnson City Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Florence fell 44-36 to Johnson City on Tuesday. Florence has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Johnny Slawinski, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Mccray Jacobs was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight assists and three steals.
Florence bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Johnson City, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Florence is on the road again on Friday and play against Thrall at 6:15 p.m. on December 15th. Thrall will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Johnson City will be home for the holidays to greet Lometa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lometa is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
