Benson was the 59-53 winner over Buena Vista when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Benson Bunnies fell to the Buena Vista Bison 52-48. The Bunnies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Benson had strong showings from Goanar Bamach, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 19 points along with six boards and five blocks, and Antonio Carson Jr., who went 7 for 13 en route to 18 points.
