The Alta Hawks will head out on the road to take on the East Leopards at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Alta comes in on three and East on six.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Alta took on Skyline on Friday. The Hawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 5-0 shutout.

Alta got a great performance from Ian Alvey as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over 6.2 innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave Alvey a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colton Hall, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but East ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against Highland by a score of 12-9.
Josh Treend and Logan Lunt were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Treend pitched four innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off only one hit. Meanwhile, Lunt struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for East: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 4-9 otherwise. At the plate, Treend went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run, while Lunt went 4-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Brody Blaylock was excellent, earning two runs and three stolen bases.
East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 11.
East's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-10. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Alta, their record now sits at 13-3.
East's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Alta hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. It's a different story for East, though, as they've only averaged .259. Will they be able to contain Alta's hitters?
Alta beat East 11-7 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
