The Desert Christian Eagles and the North Valley Christian Academy Lions squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Desert Christian Eagles had to settle for second. They took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Desert Christian has not had much luck with North Valley Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Desert Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Tyson Dobbins and Jonathan Brown. Dobbins scored 22 points along with six assists, while Brown scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Dobbins hasn't dropped below 16 points for ten straight games.
Desert Christian's defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-7. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 22-9 with that victory, which was their 28th straight at home dating back to last season.
Desert Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Valley Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
