Basketball Recap: Lovell Takes a Loss

Lovell and Cody squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lovell had to settle for second. They were dealt a 49-20 defeat at the hands of the Cody Broncs. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Broncs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Lovell's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Cody, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Lovell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cody, they will take on Pinedale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Pinedale sitting on 16 straight wins and Cody on four.
