Baseball Recap: Hooks Takes a Loss

Hooks lost against White Oak back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hooks Hornets fell 6-2 to the White Oak Roughnecks.

Hooks has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. White Oak's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1.

Coming up, Hooks will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Liberty-Eylau at 7:00 p.m. Liberty-Eylau will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hooks surely won't give up without a fight. As for White Oak, they will challenge Sulphur Springs at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
