Liberty has gone 9-1 against Davenport recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Liberty Lancers will square off against the Davenport Gorillas at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Liberty's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches.

Liberty will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Colfax, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Liberty secured a 56-52 W over Colfax on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davenport). They breezed by Northwest Christian School to the tune of 82-46 on Friday. The Gorillas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Davenport's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points per game. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Liberty took their victory against Davenport in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 52-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
