Baseball Recap: Paramount Extends Winning Streak to Three

Paramount entered their tilt with Dominguez on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dons a 12-0 shutout. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Jeramy Quezada looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Paramount: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 4-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Paramount got a massive performance out of Nicholas Medina, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Medina a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Martinez, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Paramount was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matches.

The victory got Paramount back to even at 6-6. As for Dominguez, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6-1.

Paramount has already played their next game, a 7-3 win against El Rancho on the 27th. As for Dominguez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Paramount on the 28th.
