Softball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Bell Eagles

For the second straight game, Roosevelt will face off against Bell. The Rough Riders will challenge the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Monday, Roosevelt was able to grind out a solid victory over Bell, taking the game 9-6.

For Bell's part, Evelyn Romo made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Martinez, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
