Baseball Recap: Prairie Central Hawks vs. Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts

Prairie Central had lost four straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 5-18 to make it five. They fell 5-1 to the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Grey Ghosts when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Collin Hartman was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
