Baseball Game Recap: Thurston Eagles vs. Stevenson Spartans

Thurston fell victim to Stevenson and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Thurston and nudges their season record down to 14-12. As for Stevenson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13 record this season.

Thurston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stevenson, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Western International at 4:30 p.m. The Cowboys' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
