Oswego East is a perfect 5-0 against Romeoville since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wolves will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oswego East is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 77 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Bolingbrook on Friday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 32-7. The matchup marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Romeoville played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Joliet West and fell 41-10. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Oswego East will have to contain Richard Conley as he made an impact in Romeoville's last game. He threw for 214 yards on 18 of 40 attempts, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Romeoville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Oswego East, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Oswego East against Romeoville in their previous matchup back in August of 2019, as the squad secured a 54-0 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
