Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Has No Trouble Against Shenandoah Valley Homeschool

Grace Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool on Saturday. The Grace Christian Warriors enjoyed a cozy 50-36 victory over the Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool Golden Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Caleb Cashion continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 for 20 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high. Toby Schmandt was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Grace Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

The win got Grace Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Grace Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-52 victory against Boys' Home on the 10th. As for Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-49 win against Mt. Carmel Christian Academy on the 10th.
