Basketball Recap: Dietrich Falls to Valley in First Game of Season

Dietrich had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Valley Vikings 92-50 on Monday. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-28.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Norman, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Corrd Wells, who had 11 points.

Dietrich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-73 win against Challis on the 6th. Valley has also already played their next contest, a 64-54 victory against Raft River on the 4th.
