Softball Recap: Parker Broncs vs. Yuma Catholic Shamrocks
Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks, falling 17-2. If the Broncs were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Shamrocks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Parker saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lili Navarro, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Swena Hopkins also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Yuma Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker will host Tonopah Valley at 3:45 p.m. on March 25th. As for Yuma Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest EC at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
