Basketball Recap: Lake Arthur Takes a Loss

Lake Arthur played against Melrose and lost via forfeit.

Lake Arthur dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Melrose, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Arthur will venture away from home to face off against Floyd at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for Melrose, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
