Crystal City won the last time they faced Sabinal and things went their way  on Saturday too. Everything went the Crystal City Javelinas' way against the Sabinal Yellowjackets as the Crystal City Javelinas made off with  an  11-2 victory. The Javelinas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by nine  runs or more this season.
 Scott Rodriguez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Rodriguez was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Crystal City got a big performance out of  Robert Alvarado, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. Alvarado also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season.  Jason Mendoza was another key player,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Crystal City  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .708. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
