Baseball Preview: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. El Camino Wildcats

Sage Creek is 7-1 against El Camino since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bobcats will host the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Sage Creek proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 12) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Poway 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.

Josh Schutz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Sage Creek's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 5-2 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
