Volleyball Recap: Start Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Start had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Scott Bulldogs 3-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Start was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.

Kaden Baker paced Start's offense, picking up eight kills. Baker got some help from Jaden Brunt and his ten assists. Felix Morales controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Start has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Anthony Wayne on the 15th. As for Scott, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Olentangy Liberty on the 15th.
