St. Croix Lutheran waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 72-44 victory over the New Life Academy Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in February.

St. Croix Lutheran's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for New Life Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

St. Croix Lutheran will head out to challenge Minnehaha Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Minnehaha Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully St. Croix Lutheran likes a good challenge. As for New Life Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against United Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. United Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something New Life Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
