Softball Recap: Bristol Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Bristol challenged Chalker on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Bristol's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Chalker, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

While Bristol had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
