Basketball Recap: Pinnacle Comes Up Short

Pinnacle lost against Whitehorse back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pinnacle Panthers were beaten by the Whitehorse Raiders 62-19. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-9.

Among those leading the charge was Heidi Clark, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Keiarra Martin, who scored 13 points.

Pinnacle has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Whitehorse, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Pinnacle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 34-29 loss against Logan on the 20th. As for Whitehorse, they will venture away from home to take on San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitehorse is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season.
