Basketball Game Preview: Poplar Springs Atomics vs. Chipley Tigers

The Poplar Springs Atomics will head out to face off against the Chipley Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Poplar Springs lost to Malone at home by a 71-52 margin. The Atomics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chipley played against Holmes County and won via forfeit.

Poplar Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Chipley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Poplar Springs took a serious blow against Chipley when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 66-37. Can Poplar Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
