Basketball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Washington Rams

The Copper Canyon Aztecs will head out on the road to face off against the Washington Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Canyon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Copper Canyon took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Sierra Linda with a sharp 65-44 victory.

Meanwhile, Washington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Independence.

Washington's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-7. As for Copper Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Copper Canyon suffered a grim 68-48 defeat to Washington in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Copper Canyon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
