Basketball Recap: Shadle Park Takes a Loss

Shadle Park lost against Mt. Spokane back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shadle Park Highlanders took a hard 64-45 fall against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Wildcats are ranked 107th).

This is the second loss in a row for Shadle Park and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Mt. Spokane, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shadle Park will venture away from home to square off against Central Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Shadle Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Spokane, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mead at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
