Soccer Game Preview: Harrisburg vs. Marion

Harrisburg is 1-9 against Marion since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Harrisburg will head out on the road to take on Marion at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Harrisburg got the win against Salem by a conclusive 4-1. Harrisburg haven't had any issues with Salem recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Ava Wilson and Hannah Rorer scored all four of Harrisburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Marion had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand Massac County an 8-0 shutout on Monday.

Harrisburg now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Marion, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Harrisburg couldn't quite get it done against Marion in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Harrisburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
