Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Springs Comes Up Short

Cambridge Springs lost against Erie First Christian Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Erie First Christian Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 24-26, 25-13.

Erie First Christian Academy was led to victory by Shaye Maya and Gabby Siegler. Maya had 13 digs, while Siegler had 20 digs and 11 kills. Siegler has been hot recently, having posted six or more kills the last four times she's played.

Cambridge Springs suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 2-5. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cambridge Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Saegertown at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Erie First Christian Academy will face off against rival Tidioute Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
