Volleyball Recap: Charleston Comes Up Short

Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cooter Wildcats, falling 3-0. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Charleston ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Cooter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-12.

Charleston has already played their next match (against East Prairie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cooter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Southland on the 7th.
