Basketball Game Preview: Huron Chiefs vs. Airport Jets

Huron hasn't had much luck against Airport recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Huron Chiefs will venture away from home to challenge the Airport Jets at 7:00 p.m.

Last Monday, Huron ended up a good deal behind St. Mary Catholic Central and lost 61-46. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Falcons/Kestrels are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, Airport blew past Grosse Ile, posting a 56-24 win. The Jets haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Airport, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Huron came up short against Airport in their previous meeting back in January, falling 66-57. Can Huron avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
