Softball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt lost against Grand Ledge back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Comets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holt's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Grand Ledge, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-8.

When Holt and Grand Ledge next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Rams will face off against Fowlerville and their four-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Grand Ledge will try to stop Lansing Catholic's nine-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 3, the Cougars 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
