After a string of three wins, Parkers Prairie's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Browerville Tigers, falling 12-3. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Anna Helling made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Schilling, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Parkers Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Browerville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Coincidentally, Parkers Prairie and Browerville will both be playing Brandon/Evansville the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
