Basketball Recap: East Lyme Comes Up Short

East Lyme was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the New London Whalers 74-34. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Whalers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

East Lyme's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for New London, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Coming up, East Lyme will head out to challenge Bacon Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. New London does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
