Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Hun

Hun put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the South Hunterdon Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Hun pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for South Hunterdon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hun will take on Villa Joseph Marie at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for South Hunterdon, they will head out to square off against Somerville at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
