Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alvirne). They blew past the Timberlane Owls, posting a 74-43 victory. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Owls are ranked 78th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Alvirne and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Timberlane, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Alvirne will challenge Concord at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Alvirne is facing Concord at the right time seeing as Concord is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Timberlane has already played their next match (against Coe-Brown Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
