Softball Game Preview: Klahowya Eagles vs. North Kitsap Vikings

The Klahowya Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the North Kitsap Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Klahowya is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 24 runs back in March, they were much more limited against Stadium on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-2. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Klahowya saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Hart, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. Landyn Watson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

North Kitsap came out on top against North Mason two weeks ago thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Vikings' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 9-0 shutout. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Klahowya's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for North Kitsap, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Klahowya might still be hurting after the 13-0 defeat they got from North Kitsap in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
