Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Comes Up Short

Silver Lake Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Durfee Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Silver Lake Regional was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 25-22.

Silver Lake Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Durfee, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.

Silver Lake Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against New Bedford on the 14th. As for Durfee, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Brockton on the 14th.
