Basketball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion lost against Berean Academy back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Marion took a 29-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Berean Academy.

Taryn Kraus was Marion's leading scorer, having posted six points. Erin Regnier took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Berean Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion will take on Central Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berean Academy, they will challenge Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
