After losing to Diamond Bar the last time they met, Chino decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cowboys breezed past the Brahmas to the tune of 42-9 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Carson Hoover threw for 116 yards and one touchdown on only nine passes. Christian Rodriguez was his top target, picking up 73 receiving yards.

Diamond Bar's loss came despite strong showings from Zein Abdelaziz and Ryan Manning. Abdelaziz picked up 101 receiving yards and one TD, while Manning threw for 192 yards and one touchdown. Abdelaziz showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 61 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Chino and bumps their season record up to 5-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.5 points over those games. As for Diamond Bar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chino will head out to challenge Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Defenders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Diamond Bar, they will venture away from home to face off against Palmdale at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Brahmas will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
