The South Pasadena Tigers will take on the San Marino Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Pasadena is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

On Friday, South Pasadena came up short against La Canada and fell 7-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Pasadena saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Adams, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Marino). They blew past Alhambra 23-11 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Kayla Giddings was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with seven stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those seven stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Madeline Bilvado was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

San Marino always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alhambra only posted an OBP of .394.

South Pasadena's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for San Marino, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.

Everything went South Pasadena's way against San Marino in their previous matchup back in March, as South Pasadena made off with a 12-3 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
