Softball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. West Hardin Oilers

The Warren Warriors will start their season against the West Hardin Oilers. First pitch is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

West Hardin is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They fell 12-7 to West Orange-Stark. One positive for the Oilers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

As for Warren, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 1-15.

Warren came up short against West Hardin when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 13-9. Can Warren avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
