Basketball Recap: Kylan Finch Key Part of a Team Effort in Pioneers Win

Gibson County won the last time they faced Milan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gibson County Pioneers took down the Milan Bulldogs 62-47. The Pioneers pushed the score to 52-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Gibson County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylan Finch out in front who posted 17 points. Finch's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trajan Eddings, who scored 15 points.

Gibson County's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Milan, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Gibson County will host Ripley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Milan, they will challenge Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Milan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
